Experience
I have significant experience over several years working with individuals who have suffered bereavement and loss. Loss can occur in many areas of our life, such as redundancy, loss of status, sudden illness, or any changes in our lives which affect us.
In 2013 I trained with 'Youth Access UK' working for '"Relate2U', a young person's counselling service available through 'Relate'. I worked in our local Grammer sixth form and the College of Further Education with young adults offering a general counselling service. I also established, and managed ‘The Listening Room’ Counselling Service at The Ladies College in Guernsey, supporting students and staff, from May 2018 until April 2021. I have since studied both as a Couples Therapist and a Trauma-Informed Therapist. I am interested in neurodiversity. Both through lived experience and studies.
